William McClintock
Our Managing Director, William McClintock, has been involved in the housing market for over 45 years and is currently a Director of The Guild of Professional Estate Agents at 121 Park Lane, London W1 representing over 700 offices in the UK and overseas. Amongst the posts he has held was Managing Director of Royal Life Estates (South) and Operations Director for over 300 offices in the UK. Later he served as International Director of Hamptons International in Singapore but also with responsibility for Hong Kong.
Alexander Armitage - Managing Director
Alex studied at Oxford University and then went into real estate development work in England for 2 years. After this he moved to Koh Samui, Thailand in 2004 where he saw the potential for investment in a burgeoning Koh Samui property market, he went on to buy land on Koh Samui and build luxury Samui villas. In 2006 Alexander Armitage and William MacClintock seeing a need for an international accredited real estate agency to be available in Koh Samui, opened Horizon Homes Real Estate Agency and started the prestigious Koh Samui villa development Horizon Villas. Alex is now Development Manager for Horizon Villas Koh Samui and Director of Horizon Homes Real Estate.
Christian Horsager Pejtersen - Architectural advisor and managing director
Got his architectural degree from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen 2001. He was from his graduation until 2005 working for different Danish architects firms mainly involved with school, factory and residential projects. He moved to Koh Samui in 2006 and started after an interim freelance period working as head architect for one of the islands biggest construction companies until it was closed in 2009 and SIL was established.
Amorn Senbutr - Architect Trainee
Graduated as a draftsman from the division of architectural technology, at Songkhla Technology School in 2004 and is currently studying to become an architect. He began working for one of the islands biggest construction companies and kept the job until 2009 when the company closed and he began working for SIL.
Wasan Dokmaitad, alias“Wat” - Engineer
Graduated as a civil engineer from Bangkok’s Sripatum University in 1998 and began same year working for an engineering consultancy company in Bangkok. He got his engineering license the year after in 1999 and began teaching at Suratthani Technical College in the Building Construction Department. He moved in 2005 to Koh Samui where he started to work for one of the islands biggest construction companies until 2009 when the company closed and he began working for SIL.
Surasak Sihasen, alias “Joe” - Project Manager
Ggraduated as a civil engineer from North Eastern University Khon Kaen in 2004 and graduated as surveyor from Rajamangala University of technology Krungthep (Bangkok Technical Campus) in 1998. Began working as civil engineer for G.S. Engineering Co., Ltd. in Suratthani and moved in 2007 to Koh Samui to work for one of the islands biggest construction companies and stayed there until 2009 when the company closed and he began working for SIL.
